Why stop at one? We can have the cheese both inside the patty, on top of the patty, and under the patty. And... we can even use 3 different kinds of cheese.
FWIW [4e designer] baseline assumption was that roughly 70% of your feats would be put towards combat effectiveness, parties would coordinate, and strikers would do 20/40/60 at-will damage+novas. If your party isn't doing that... well, you are below baseline, so yes, you need to optimize slightly to meet baseline. -Alcestis

Wait... is this instead of or in addition to the bacon?

In addition.
And since we are stacking, we should have bacon above and below the burger patty as well.

I think I can feel my arteries hardening just reading that. So, are we using any, ketchup, mayonaisse, or mustard? What about vegetables? I'm rather fond of grilled onions, myself.

Condiments will be added by the end user eater.
Grilled onions are a definate go. So are grilled mushrooms. Lettuce, tomato, and pickles are standard fare, so they're in.

Blacken that sucker, medium. Throw a big honkin' chunk of bleu cheese on it. Slather the toasted bun in Gulden's spicy brown. Serve with some real potato chips with more bleu cheese for dippin'. NOMNOMNOM.
/also, Bacon.
Wizards of the Coast can suck it.

Where's Zelink to put in a "I'm Commander Shephard, and Thicket of Blades is my favorite power on the Citadel" joke?
