In the current packet, does anyone else think that melee 2-Handed Weapons (not polearms) are getting a bit of the shaft?

Is the slight base damage advantage of most 2HWs enough to make up for the distinct lack of 2HW related feats and manuevers (as well as the opportunity cost of not having a shield)? Looking through the lists, I see manuevers and feats that are usable by sword and board, ranged, light weapons, and 2WF dudes, but nothing for the 2HW dudes.

Oversight? What kind of feats/manuevers would make it worthwhile?

Maybe we should go the other way, and not lock feats to combat styles.

I'm sure we'll see TH weapon utility feats before it's all said and done. But I do think they could also use a little nudge overall - like +1 to hit. That would help make STR fighters a little more attractive as well.

Perhaps TH weapons could also provide you with some benefits to maneuvers like Disarm, Trip, Bull Rush, Shove Away...

Why don't we go both ways and have general feats as well as specialized feats? There are already some polearm-specific feats. Why not feats for a greatsword/greataxe?
