hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any XML files to pass me for monster builder (D&D adventure tools). Apparently you can load monsters into it that way. I was also wondering if anyone could tell me if the adventure tools are updated to MM3 standards or if I have to update it manually. Does anyone know of a database for adventure tool XML files ? Much thanks !

If you're talking about the offline builder, monsters are updated to post MM3 standard, but the builder itself is glitchy, and XML files and the like load poorly with many powers and traits being altered or corrupted in the transfer. As such, it's often better to manually add in monsters than to try and add from an external file. Never used the online builder much, so I can't really tell you much about it unfortunately. well if that's true, does anyone know a good place to look up monster databases for 4e ? I've checked some of the stuff on the monster builder itself but there's always room for more !

Well the compendium is mostly current with only a few months of monster content missing. Aside from that, the books and e-zines proper might be your best bet.
