Plague isn't American. A lot of countries use DD/MM/YY instead of MM/DD/YY.

Thanks for pointing out. As Jenks pointed out my frenchie DD/MM/YY model came on top.  Wink

 I edited the OP and poked some folk to get the title fixed.

Now my question:  Is there any plan to have Critical Hit deal extra damage for spells as well ?

Ooh, ooh! I have a question!

In D&D Next, what is the intended purpose of the Heal skill (or WIS/INT check, if unskilled) when it comes to natural healing? Does using a healing kit to stabilize a dying character or provide an opportunity to use Hit Dice to regain hit points during a rest require some kind of check with a DC? This seemed unclear in the packets. At present, my players can't really see a purpose in allowing Heal to take up a skill slot.

I have a lot of questions. I'll keep it to 5, knowing I have many more. Take your pick if you dare (insert maniacal laughter, evil snickering, and other such things here).

1. At what point will people that loved the in-depth, detailed, option-heavy tactical combat of 4e start to see some of that again?

2. How much material are you planning on releasing in playtest builds, compared to how much you are planning on keeping in the PHB that we will buy in 2014?

3. How well do you feel you have balanced the player that loves to pick and choose his custom options and detail out his character to the last feat, power, ability, and half-bonus-modifier VERSUS the casual player that wants to pick one or two things and go?

4. How well do you feel you can balance overall game difficulty both on the "gritty and deadly VERSUS story-heavy no-death" and the "new guy to RPGs that doesn't quite get it yet VERSUS hi i've been playing since before you were born and can optimize to khyber and back"?

5. As a big fan of several aspects of 4e - game balance, ease of GMing, unique and special abilities for every class and monster, etc - why is 5e going to make me want to make the switch?

Bonus 6th question:

6. What will happen to my DDI account, the 4e Character Builder, the 4e Compendium, and the 4e Monster Builder once DDN is released?

1) Has there been any thought on redesigning humans to have less blanket ability increases and giving them something akin to what other races have, such as a favored weapon?

2) Has there been any thought on separating culture from genetics on races?

3) Since it seemed to resonate with quite a few people the boards, has there been consideration of using skill dice as proficiency dice for attack rolls?
