Because some people haven't been playing the game for a decade? There are parts of the PHB which address size in a less-than-comprehensive manner, and perhaps he had just found that instead of the entire table.
Granted, he did rush to the forums instead of reading further, but I think there's something to be said from learning the game from other people than from a stuffy rulebook.

Because some people haven't been playing the game for a decade?
It takes a decade to learn the basics of a game?
There are parts of the PHB which address size in a less-than-comprehensive manner, and perhaps he had just found that instead of the entire table.

And there's a very convinient place for that here. It doesn't have to pollute the Optimization board. Also, there's a search tool on the SRD. Also, size benefits and penalties are mentioned several times in the Monster Manual, as well as near on every other book printed. It's not like it's hard to find for anyone who's willing to put even the slightest amount of work in.

Ok Joker so i see you are king in here and we all should bow down and kiss the ground you walk on or maybe just maybe finding out a size bonuses could lead to a optimized char if the bonuses are good enough yes I did read the book and I may have missed it but I coul dnot find anthing in there that says you get x str x dex x con for what size there is stuff there for large size char with enlarg person but not for shrink person so that is why I asked here because once I find out then if it is good enough I will be looking to make a optiized char that is tiny but I need to know what you get for being that size besides what I already said

Good. Adoring minions are convinient.
or maybe just maybe finding out a size bonuses could lead to a optimized char if the bonuses are good enough
Then maybe you should have found out and then built the character, or asked on the proper subforum. Or, you know, read the books.
yes I did read the book and I may have missed it but I coul dnot find anthing in there that says you get x str x dex x con for what size there is stuff there for large size char with enlarg person but not for shrink person
Those are spells. They have nothing to do with natural sizes and their bonuses.
so that is why I asked here because once I find out then if it is good enough I will be looking to make a optiized char that is tiny but I need to know what you get for being that size besides what I already said
So, you decided to use the wrong subforum to get already easy to come by information to decide something you were going to do anyways?
And for the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, use punctuation.

Tempest had a really cool tiny character that used iaijutsu and small bonuses to create a pretty nasty damage dealer, I have the link saved, might help give you some ideas. He used gnome brave bravado and gnomish quickrazors, it was quite neat.
And who said it was going to be tiny right from the bat I'm looking at a halfling becoming tiny using shrink and perma so that is why I need to know what you get when you become tiny looking at the spell I do not remember there being anything there so I asked
