I like this feat, i think more should be like it

This feat allows one to take things like spells and make them your own. i already had my player manifesting their spell as they see fit.

Our wizard shot things our her mouth.

Our cleric spirtual weapons was a floating beer stein.

This feat (which i know had similar things in previous editions) is great. it does not break the game as it is only one element but allows so much customisation.

I just we had these for other spells.

Like something perhaps to switch wisdom check to con checks for some spells (so hold person could be like a physical prison as opposed to a mental one) or vice versa (stinking cloud could be some mind gas or something)

perhaps spells can have different manifestations and if these make them more powerful, make them use a higher slot.

Thoughts?

you can already do anything you want to reflavor your abilities (as long as it doesn't change the mechanics)

all this feat does is change a damage type.

that what i said,

but say, if an ice wizard wants to freeze someone. well that would be hold person, but it be a strength not a wisdom to overcome.

but that is changing mechanics.

yes, you can do that but i like when the game nods to it.
