powers from creatures of old World of Darkness (like fae glamour).
Oh good lord no. Ugh, Changeling: the Dreaming. I mean, maybe if you're talking about Dark Ages: Fae, which was much better, but then at that point, there's no reason not to just further upgrade to Changeling: the Lost and be done with it.
Part of why I don't favor the oWoD is that it was often wonky, even within a game line - never mind crossovers.
For those confused on how DDN's modular rules might work, this may provide some insight: http://www.tor.com/blogs/2012/11/the-world-of-darkness-shines-when-it-abandons-canon
@mikemearls: Uhhh... do you really not see all the 3e/4e that's basically the entire core system?

The fact that the games were incompatible with each other didn't help much, either. Mage and Werewolf's metaplots could not co-exist.

Well......they could, kinda, but only after enough bending, folding, and mutilating that would make a contortionist wince.
I'm so very glad they made the nWoD much more crossover friendly in every respect. Well, except Hunter. And Promethean to some extent.

Let´s imagine you are WotC game desinger, and you can get all ideas from other rpgs, (forget copyright and all about it). What ideas would you like "plagiare"?
The magic system from Savage Worlds, where spells are more like categories, and the player is able to interpret them according to his character.
Failing that, the magic system from Ars Magica.
Advantages and Disadvantages (Savage Worlds has the best list, because it's compact and covers pretty much everything without trying to break everything down into fine detail like GURPS).
Wound levels from True20.
Roll 3d6 instead of d20 from Dragon Age.
No classes, build characters from combination of attributes, skills, advantages and disadvantages (pretty much every other game in existence, but let's just say Savage Worlds).
Hero points for rerolls, maybe other effects (True20, Savage Worlds, TORG, etc.)

I agree different powers of WoD creatures weren´t good to do crossovers, but I like the idea different creatures with different style of powers.
I know a WoD d20 is a true challenge, and I love it. (yes, I rebember the d20 WoD by Monter Cook).
* I like hit points system, but the level of health from Storytellinng System too. Using it for d20 could be easy, only a pool of penalty by injuries and other causes..
The willpower points from Storytelling system could be replaced for d20 version like action points what can be got like rewards. * How would be a mixture of Urban Arcana and Shadowrun?
and d20 Past with 7th Sea?
and Dark Matters with Kult? (Kult = X Files + Hellraiser..).
"Say me what you're showing off for, and I'll say you what you lack!" (Spanish saying)

Not the one you like because of x.y, or z. Rather just the one that was the most fun, the most memorable, and a system that you wouldn't hesitate to play again.
I'm thinking Star Wars, by West End Games. Although Twighlight 2000 and Rifts are close.
while its not really a system outside of dnd, I like OED Book of War: deltasdnd.blogspot.com/2011/09/book-of-w...
I'm hoping to be able to play it with dnd next. Its short, easy to use and an incredible amount of fun to play! You don't really need dnd to play it unless your fighting heroes against each other.
battle on!
