Hi, very new to D & D here. Only own Ashardolin & enjoy very much. Still bit confused with some rules & general play of game. Is there a general rule book that explains things in better detail that can also relate to the D & D board games like Ashardolon? Thanx.

Not quite sure what you're looking for. If you mean a "general" rulebook for the D&D Adventure Series boardgames, there isn't one, but the one that comes with Wrath of Ashardalon has everything you need to play that game.
If you're referring to actual D&D (as in the Roleplaying game), the best start would be to pick up a copy of the Player's Handbook for whichever edition of the game you're interested in. Alternatively, jump on board the D&D Next playtesting train, you can download the package(s) from the WotC Dungeons and Dragons website.
Not sure, but I hope that was of some help to you.

Thanks, I might try to buy sometype of handbook. The rule book that comes with Ashardolon at first seems like it covers everything, but then as I got into the game I noticed myself questioning more & more things. I wish they would have written out like an example adventure, so first time players can see one played out. For instance, the treasure cards, they can easliy conflict with each other. Many say "use immediateley". Ok, but there actions usually refer to combat, so then I wait until combat to use them, like the Clerics Shield. I think it gives you an extra 2+ AC. So I understood that in the rules you cant use more than one card at a time which gives you extra AC or HP, so then I assume you can pick and use whichever one you want to use on each turn? And also, it does not at all say if you can continue to keep and use the cards. I assume you can, so each turn in villan phase I would use my item treasure card to increase my AC because I had like 6 HP of damage, so I was trying to not get hit by monsters. I was then using that same treasure card just about every turn. So, basically, I have no idea if that is correct play or not. And one more small thing, I noticed reference to money on each treasure card, like "$2,000 copper" or something like that. No where in the rulebook under treasure cards did I see a reference to what or how to use those numbers. Well...thanks again, and I hope I'm making sense here with these questions, but yea, thats why I was wondering if there was a more detailed rule book that explained these things. Anthony.

What you might need is the Wrath of Ashardalon series by Watch it Played. I can't post a direct link for some reason, but just type Wrath of Ashardalon in YouTube's search function and you'll get there.
