And the FQA are the official use of the rule not a rule Update.

The minor errors are typograghical (typos) that are corrected in reprints.

The FAQ specifically states that it DOESN'T use the official rules updates, therefore they are not official.

If the FAQ and the Primary source material, the rulebook, disagree, then unless it is stated in the errata, the primary source is the correct rule.

Primary Source and Errata will always trump the FAQ, Always!

So get that through your head: IF IT IS NOT IN THE PUBLISHED RULEBOOKS OR ERRATA THEN IT IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RULE!!!

FQA use the official rules read please, the FQA try to don't cover it because this issues are already resolved in the errata.

Scout
A scout has trapfinding but not Disable Device as a class
skill. Was this intentional?
The errata to CAd (found at
www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/welcom...)
indicates that Disable Device should be considered a class skill
for the scout.

Oma, maybe you should read the part of the FAQ where it says it does not use official updated rules.

In addition the errata, the most official rules, outright stats that Primary Source and Errata are the only official rules.

Oma, that really doesn't matter because the Official Rules are Primary Source.

If the FAQ disagrees with a primary source, then unless it is covered in the errata, the primary source is correct.

Oma, Primary Source is the Rule Book in question.

Lets say were are looking at rules for Scrolls. The Dungeon Master Guide is the Primary Source. So rules in the Players Handbook, FAQ, Rules Discussions by Skip etc are all out there. Say some of these disagree. Which would be correct? Well unless it was updated in the Errata (official rules update) then the Primary Source Rule would make the Dungeon Master Guide the correct rule.

That makes the printed and published rulebooks and the Errata the only official rules.

sorry but the Errata only say if one of the player or monster manual have someting that not match with a rule of the dungeon master guide you use the rule of Dungeon master guide this rule dont cover the other books and afficial resources.

the other rule talk about dual description and say that in the case of 2 description don't match each other you take the full description instead of the short description as example the spells.

and the FQA are the official use of the rule, the FQA say how work the rules not make new ones.
