So, my daughter has been DMing a game with her friends for a little while. She has been getting by with the books (which we have), but her life might be easier with an insider account. Is there a way to give an insider account as a gift?

Just subscribbing to DDi using her account should do it. If she doesn't have an account, she will have to create one.
