I've chosen a domain spell and there is a disagreement about how to interpret it.

I'm an 11th level character in a 3.5 game.  My build is Cleric6/RadiantServantofPelor5.

For the Lust Domain (Spell Compendium) it states:  "...you gain an enhancement bonus to Charisma equal to your cleric level..."

I say my cleric level is 11.  Others say it is 6 (that the 5 levels of RSoP don't count).

Thoughts?

And, yes, it takes a bit of roleplaying to get the DM to let a Cleric/RSoP choose the Lust Domain.

"Others" are right.  Your cleric class level, which is what this references, is simply the number of levels you have in the cleric class.

This user has been brought to you by the letters "O-R-C" and the numbers "2, 3, 4, and 6"

When your domain is looking at your Cleric level it is just looking at your Cleric level.  In this case that is 6.  Considering you're getting three people giving you the same answer (and one of them is often seriously disagreeing with the other two) your true answer should be clear.

Now as a houserule I would allow PrCs that require a certain domain (like the True Necromancer requiring the Death Domain) to count as "Cleric levels" but only for that domain.  IIRC RSoP requires the "Sun" Domain to enter which means I'd add those level to Cleric if the Sun domain asks for Cleric level but that is the only case they'd add.
