This starts with the premise that RPGs are artsy and need to focus around poetry. Design must be done in iambic pentameter, and play must occur in blank verse. All situations have deeper meaning, encounters have layers, and settings and creatures are tropic. Each game design must have a meme to promulgate.

Then there is the philosophical model of RPGs, where play consists of discussion of the meaning of events whereto their relationship to reality and the inner mind, while design is centered around long winded essays on relationships between agencies, and hot blooded disputes regarding authorial immunity and the flammability of taverns.

The adolescent fantasy model we''ll leave for those less cautious.
One dagger is a plot point. A thousand daggers is inventory.
