Sorry 25 years, never had a munchkin, so the answer is no, no one has ever asked for that. Players are generally more creative than that.

I just threw up a little, builds are for Diablo, not for an RPG.
Right, that's why a vast majority of the community just ignores any and all builds, no one ever asks anyone else for build help,...oh wait. Nevermind. In any game with stats and choices, you're going to have builds. Many see this as a good thing, myself included. I've said it before and I'll say it again; power gaming is not a bad thing, and people who treat it like it's a bad thing are denying an important part of the hobby. If you hate stats so much, I highly recommend not buying anymore books and sticking strictly with freeform.
Also, Diablo is a role-playing game.
I have a question; what's with this distinction between "role-playing" and combat that people seem to be drawing? Combat in any RPG is part of role-playing.
