The Reaper Bones Kickstarter in August got me fired up about painting again, and since then I have painted 71 minis including

bones minotaur
bones bugbear
bones bugbear, modded
reaper medusa
reaper Indian shaman
LOTR Gollum
23 figures from the megaminis King's Court collection
42 figures from the Wrath of Ashardalon game

I finally finished the Wrath of Ashardalon set this morning after working on it on and off for the last 2 months.   Most of the figs below were primed with Gesso (brushed on), painted and highlighted with various Reaper and Citadel paints, shaded with Army Painter Quickshade Dark (brushed on), and then most were dullcoated with Liquitex Matte Varnish (also brushed on).  Enjoy.Laughing

Incredible.
Want to know more about the history of D&D, especially how to play older editions of the game? Check out Crazy Monkey's "Tour through the editions":

http://community.wizards.com/crazymonkey/go/forum/view/133793/225799/Asylum_Play-by-Post

The current edition is BECMI, the most popular form of Basic D&D and the adventure is the classic Red Box quest to kill Bargle the evil magic user. Check it out, learn about the games roots, and enjoy the story as it unfolds.

Late reaction, but I'm sure you don't mind a late compliment

I came on here looking to ask if anyone has painted these, so I will ask you (since your work is incredible here!!!) what kind of paints were used?  Acrylics like you would use for metal minis?  Again, very cool work and I hope to see the rest of the minis you paint on here somewhere!

Sorry for the very late reply.  I used Citadel and Reaper MSP paints for the most part  which are acrylics. I primed them with Pro-Art Gesso Canvas Primer, which is also acrylic.  Be sure to wash the figs first to get the mold release completely off them.  Once primed they paint just like primed metal figs .  On many of the figs I sealed and shaded them army painter quickshade dark, followed by a coat of matte varnish to kill the shine.
