A local game shop advised some new miniatures would be upcoming in the Fall of 2012. Anyone have any info on these? Sorry if has already been talked about I am new(er) to the forums and D&D pnp in general.

The only thing coming out in the Fall of 2012 is the new Dungeon Command set, Curse of Undeath ( www.wizards.com/dnd/Product.aspx?x=dnd/p...). It contains a mix of old and new sculpts. Then, next February, the fifth faction pack ( www.wizards.com/dnd/Product.aspx?x=dnd/p...) will be composed of all new sculpts. Regards.
