I see the rationale for the move, but, it is an observation that applies to old games as well as new. In short, thanks to all the detail available in an RPG, the depth and breadth of the playing field, no RPG, regardless of its age, regardless of how extensive or comprehensive it is, can ever be a finished product. No matter how complete you make the rules, somebody will always find a way to add something new.
