rogues' sneak attack just got something large shoved into the inappropriate oriface... so now they are all right outside of combat, but in combat, they not only have less chance of hitting than the fighter, but they only situationally do as much damage as the fighter does whenever he feels like it...
I noticed the same thing. I also found the lack of improved Expertise Dice for four levels to be an... interesting choice.

I'm thinking about, playing, and reviewing material that's a couple of packets ahead of you. Being ahead like this makes it fairly strange to go back and look at what's going out in the playtest packet.
So, in other words, nothing we say about this packet will influence what they're doing now? If everything they've been working on for months is based off of this packet of stuff, how likely would they be to change anything based off of our suggestions to same? I think slim to none chance.
No wonder this most recent packet is full of changes that are upsetting fans. How long ago did they stop listening to us?

Not a bad idea Gustaveren. Similar to arcane parry type power/shield and fits the archtype better.
I see what you mean therre but I only see it better flavor for an illusionist... make them at-will (almost must have options) which need restored after revealed or knocked down as the case may be.
