What if someone tried to mix Savage Worlds and DND? A fighter using Savage Worlds stats would probably have at least d6 in Strength, Agility, Spirit, and Vigor; skills at least d6 in Fighting, Shooting, and Throwing; and at least one Combat Edge. A cleric would probably have at least a d8 in Spirit; Arcane Background (Miracles) as an Edge; and skills including at least a d6 in Faith and Fighting and at least a d4 in Knowledge (Religion). A sorcerer or wizard would have at least a d8 in Smarts; Arcane Background (Magic) and possibly Scholar as Edges; and skills with at least a d8 in Spellcasting and possibly at least a d6 in Knowledge skills. A rogue would have at least a d8 in Agility and d6 in Smarts; Thief and possibly Assassin as Edges; and skills at least a d6 in Stealth, Lockpicking, Climbing, and possibly Streetwise and Fighting. A paladin would have at least a d6 in Spirit and Strength, Arcane Background (Miracles) as an Edge; at least one Combat Edge; and at least a d6 in Faith and Fighting.

You do realise that a lot of this work has been done already? Use Google: "Advanced Dungeons & Savages" and "Wizards & Warriors". Enjoy.
