For players who have gamblers personality employing crit based climactics instead of strategy based ones can work ok... generally speaking since they have a likelihood of occuring in a mistimed fashion you might enable a higher frequency than you would otherwise

Say for instance you have a workday expectation of 20 rounds and a critical hit frequency of 1 in 20 and you have a daily climax power which also has a 1 in 20 frequency but that one is when you want it... if the other guy gets a 3 in 20 crit range he will likely waste some of those boom booms on minions or in situations that make them less useful in general but they happen more.

If you are a strategic player.. you wont want to touch it with a ten foot pole.
