Hey everyone, my group and I are kind of new to D&D and I was wondering why Studded Leather Armor is showing red on all the characters. Also on the Ranger at least it is reducing Reflex defense by 2 points. Does anyone know if that is just the glitch I read about or an actual thing?

The reason Studded Leather shows up as red on all characters is because it is an exotic armor introduced in Mordenkainen's Magnificent Emporium. As such, you need a feat; Armor Prociency: Studded Leather to use it without restriction. Without the feat, you can still wear it, but on top of the granted bonuses and penalties, you also suffer a -2 to attack, and -2 to your Reflex, for being non-proficient with the armor
