I've been playing around with the idea of a halfling psychic in my head for some time now with an inbuilt confusion bolt type thing... like

tap as a standard action to make a ranged attack against a target within 5 squares and then shift it 3 squares.
Level 2, int/cha, 30 hp, (5)10/10, 6 speed
halfling, adventurer, humanoid

That's a pretty cool idea.  A nice utility/support character at only 2 levels is a new niche that hasn't been filled.

One thing I didn't like about the halfling sneak--I'd have thought he should have a power related to getting treasure.  It would be cool if he could open chests as a minor action for example.

It would be nice to have a Wisdom card that read:


Level 3 - Immediate
WIS
Trigger:  You lose morale
You lose 1-3* less morale


*I think any number between 1 and 3 would be acceptable.  Prevent all morale loss sounds better, but I feel it unbalances the game if you lose a creature that's level 6.

Seems to me we're missing a lot of WIS cards; basically the entire Cleric spell list.

Divine Shield, Standard--target creature gains attachment, block 10

Cure Serious Wounds, Standard--target creature recovers ALL HP

Cure Light Wounds, Immediate--target creature recovers 20 HP

Divine Smite, Minor--range (5) attack that deals 20 damage, or do +20 damage on your next melee attack

Resurrection, Standard--Resurrect the last one of your creatures to die; it appears in a square adjacent to the Cleric with 10 HP; gain Morale equal to the creature's level.


Just a few off the top of my head

really looking forward to wisdom options, but guess it will be a while before that can be a main stat in a deck

am thinking mechanics-wise could be more themaatic for orcs to have cleric set up ongoing zones that move with him and buff orcs in the zone

could be nice to have banishing cards vs. undead or devils, but not expecting that in orcs

two other mechanics I'd like to see are the good old 'counterspell' and maybe some order retrieval

or is that a bit too broken given cards like behind enemy lines and killing blow?

maybe a standard that attached and could be removed to untap could be a good wisdom card too?

and, of course, who wouldn't want a weapon that gave a creature either reach (requires STR), or a ranged basic attack (requires DEX or INT), or even threatening reach or 'set vs. charge' (can make basic melee attack vs. mounted enemy if they move adjacent, mabye requires STR and CON)

and, of course, we have no adventurers with CHA yet, how did that happen? where are the bards and sorcerors? 

what about a card that befriends an enemy (pacifies or even makes them attack former allies for a turn)

spells that create either difficult or hazardous terrain (walls of fire or entangle spells) - but that would require extra cards for terrain

what would be great would be a polymorph spell to swap a creature on table with one in hand (following Ld max, of course) - would love to see look on opponant's face after they killed a big critter but the a mage turns an elf archer of gobbo cutter into a dragon or devil...

could also work in reverse - as a big critter is close to death swap out for small critter (with no morale loss as not destroyed) but then redeploy a new one at end as Ld on table had gone down, then increased at end...could be very interesting mechanic

An untapping card would be a great CHA or INT card actually.

CHA: Inspired Surge, Standard--Untaps and allows re-activation of a target tapped allied creature. 

or INT: Haste, Standard--the same

Love all those ideas.  More attachments would be good in general I think, especially for WIS as it ought to be a buffing thing imo.

WIS: Divine Wrath, Standard--Attach to any creature within 5 squares.  Remove if creature takes damage from any source.  Target creature does +20 damage with all melee attacks.

WIS: Divine Protection, Standard--Attach to this creature.  All creatures within 2 squares of this creature recover 10 HP during the refresh phase.
