Three days ago I wrote my first blog post. It's a post about a module for the magic system, that I think is interesting. It's nothing exceptional, but since I spent some time to write it, and since I intend to add more posts in the blog, I'd like to be visible to the community. I did something wrong? In the Entry Status field, I can select between: I have to select one of this in particular?
Howdy folks,
I have moved this thread to Community Business where it is more on-topic. Thanks.
You should be able to select "public".
CLick on "HOME" at the top of the page. On the right, click on "Blogs" Then click on "Manage Blogs" You should see the blog post you wrote. CLick on "Edit" Then check to see if it is "public". If it isn't make it public. Then click "Submit Post" Let me know you did it and maybe post a link here so I can check it. Mmhh... very strange. In the Menage Posts page
However, it doesn't appear on the Browse Blogs page, even if I search its title by using the Blog Search field. To be clear, the Browse Blogs page is this one:
When I edit the post, I can't select or click "public". The only options selectable from the Entry Status are "friends", "private", "draft"
Nobody can help me? There is no way to appear in the Blog Posts list? Sorry, there was a problem.TSocket: timed out reading 4 bytes from
That's been happening recently to me too, but I don't think it's related to your problem. I think your problem is that you have privacy settings set to be too private. Change your privacy settings so that people your profile is public. Then see if you can edit the blog post to be public. If that doesn't work, contact Customer Service. There's a link at the bottom of every page.
thank you very much wrecan, I solved it. May I offer you a beer?
The blog error you were experiencing was happening to a number of folks (including me). We had some of our top people look into it and it should be resolved.
Let us know if you experience any other errors. Thanks.
