Well ... this thread certainly sucks.
Resident Prophet of the OTTer.Section Six Soldier Front Door of the House of Trolls If you're terribly afraid of your character dying, it may be best if you roleplayed something other than an adventurer.

So Belfort almost pulled off an armbar win then got beat for four rounds and subbed. He did get a few good uppercuts in that last round.
And it seems Dana may be gearing up to make Jones VS Sonnen.

That armbar was deep. Have they released any info on the condition of Jones' arm yet? I have to think it can't be that bad. I mean, he used it to Americana Belfort into quittin'. Also, did they ever say how much of Dunham's brains are left? Most had to have fallen out of that massive hole in his forehead. That fight was awesome, though. Fast paced, non-stop and bloody as hell. No quit in those doods. No quit in Jones, either. I bet Jones'll find plenty of quit in Sonnen.  Man, it must suck to be Machida. Win your fight, get the shot, turn a chance to get it early down and now? Back on the outside lookin' in.

I don't know, but he had it in a sling for the post fight conference. Jones said it was pretty bad. He was expeting his arm to snap because he wasn't going to tap. You got to give Belfort respect for putting Jones in a position that guys who are supposed to be better than Vitor couldn't. And it was early in the round when Jones is fresh and hasn't spent any energy. I thought it was over, but damn, Jones took it.

Yeah, that was a good fight. Rogan even said a bloody piece of vassaline landed right infront of them after Dunham got hit at the start of the round. That fight was just beastly. The deserved the fight of the night award. $65K each.

Definitely. Vitor was up against a guy that was taller, had a longer reach, could strike, wrestled, was younger, etc., and he still went in there and almost won it in the first round.I'm guessing Jones won't be fighting for a while from that viscious armbar.

Their first fight wasn't much different than what you describe. Sonnen just got caught by a triangle choke. It was Sonnen's second loss, first to a triangle choke (the first of many to come).
