That's pretty cool.

It is pretty cool. Thing is, it also looks like something I could do ... which means a 3rd grader could, too. So, ya know, not all that impressive. EDIT: Nice to see ya KGM! How's Vin an' the kids?

So you know how to weld small parts, properly study city layouts, and know which parts to use?

It's friggin' legos, man. Find the block that fits. Not exactly rocket surgery. Step 1: get stack o' parts. Step 2: look through said stack to find bits that match. Step 3: use matching bits to make a building. Step 4 - ??: Repeat steps 1 through 3. Oww, my head. That's just so difficult.

If you notice he's not using motherboards. There be no sockets.
And you still have to weld the Old stuff together to do this.

So what? You don't need sockets. You don't need a welder. You don't need a soldering iron. Hell, you probably don't even need super glue (though it'd work). Modeling glue would probably do the trick. Srsly, it's a neat-o idea and credit where due and all that but it's really not all that impressive.
