This has been bothering me for a while, what happens to all the extra force of a push if the enemy is pushed into a position that prevents it from being pushed any further like a corner? I have quite a few builds that end up attaining excessive amounts of push such as a Dragonborn Fighter/Warlock|Ninefold Master|Arcane Sword stacking Con and a Staggering weapon. You can get upwards of 27 push on your Eldritch Strike. Now thats as far as I could push the concept but the question remains: is there an official ruling for slamming enemies into walls and dealing extra damage to them?

The official ruling is: Nothing happens, because there's no rule that says anything happens.
There are a couple of specific powers that have clauses for dealing damage if a foe you're forcing to move ends up adjacent to blocking terrain, but it's specific to those powers.
Another day, another three or four entries to my Ignore List.

Perhaps more tot he point, don't have to USE all the push, and it's more than possible to have WAY too much.
Also, Eldritch Strike doesn't push, it slides.

If a player at the table I DM pushes a monster into a wall and there's 2+ squares of forced movement left that would instead be lost I roll a d10 and give a little damage bonus just because it sounds cool for the player. But like the others above said, there's no rule that covers this and so nothing is supposed to happen unless you have something specific (like a power) that says something happens.
