I'm a new player looking to get into the game and it sounds like you have a pretty flexible fun group to play with. I've never played a D+D game before, would you suggest sitting in for a night or two before jumping right in? I've also got a few other questions, How many players usually attend? Is there any homework I can do before attending a session? I've heard mixed results about 2ed, is it a difficult learning curve for a newbie? - Looking forward to hearing from you, Dex

I sent that msg to about 60 people, trying to pull the 2ed gamers to one location to talk gaming and maybe plan some games. 
Well, don't post in here. You want the classifieds.
Cliff it does not go against the framework here bud, this can be more then a group gathering thread, it can be used for conversation and debate as well but aimed at only 2ed gamers.
I am sure wotc pen and paper games got more then they need for threads about their games, this area is for other editions as they state(though I somewhat disagree with them as to way they view it but that is for another discussion  ).Happy Gaming
