Wha? How does that have anything to do with me saying I think Inception is lazily written crap? I don't recall saying there weren't enough explosions or anything like that. I mean, I only talked about the writing itself. Srsly, where did this come from?

Nobody does. Once it gets past about three sentences it's over for most. The tweeters of the world can't handle, well, words.

Really? Looks like xkcd to me.
As for Inception, meh. It's not a movie that stands out in my mind as bad or good. It just got a lot of hype which, in turn, made it seem like it should have been more. Actually, a lot like River Tam.

Hey, I can totally read past three sentences!
But, y'know, that's real life. I come here to turn my brain off and yell at the internet and be one with the frothing masses.
That aside, woo! The motorcycle people are talking to the bank people, and tomorrow they'll both have me come back and sign some things, and then by Saturday I'll have my motorcycle!
And hopefully I won't drop it on the pavement in the first 15 minutes. I mean, I got through the entire safety class without dropping a bike, but that wasn't a brand-new bike so I just know I'm gonna be laying this thing down sooner or later...
But that'll give me pretty much all of December to practice and ride, so hopefully I'll be comfortable enough in January that I won't have to keep the car (that would be just inconvenient for everyone).
Also! (Some of) my new computer came in! The case is... bigger... then expected. It won't actually fit where my current tower sits, but I was planning on re-arranging the living room anyway. But it's gonna be awesome... once the rest of the parts come in. Still need to decide if I'm gonna cannibalize this machine to finish it. If I don't I'll need to pick up a new power source. I'm kinda tempted to not cannibalize 'cause then (once I pick up a new monitor) I'll be able to have two machines running which means that I can... well... um... hrm... ok, so I'm not sure on just what the bennies of doing that would be, but it's not like this machine is bad, it's just not good anymore, so I'd feel kinda bad just tossing it when it's not actually bjorked yet. Also need to decide if I'm gonna put Win 7 or Win 8 on it.

Once you get the new one built, turn the old one into a linux box. You could even make it a headless server so you don't have to buy a new monitor.  Also, windows 8 sux.

If I want a linux box I'll just set my new one up to dual boot. I'm seriously trying to think of a reason I'd want to boxes running at the same time and the most I can come up with is "so I don't have to alt-tab" but that's what the Kindle is for anyway.
