A note about character and world creation

Character and world creation are a form of expression. The point is that some people don't have much to say...

Shh! We don't get to make fun of The Company here, and, as I recall, WotC is owned by Hasbro!

Sweet - just got the confirmation email from Reaper that the first shipment of my Kickstarter minis are on their way... Not like I'm ever gonna get around to painting them all any of them, lol, but its gonna be cool to finally have them. I got the full set of out-of-print ReaperCon limited-release minis of the company mascot Sophie the Succubus as well as the Kickstarter-only Sophie... and a t-shirt, hehe.

Yeah painting those things is a major pain in the ass, thats why anymore Ive been going with those cheap plastic WotC minis, and by cheap I mean cheaply made, not that theyre actually cheap, they want like a 100 bucks for Orcus!!! Granted he is like a foot tall, but still.

Oh, painting 'em is my primary hobby - and I scored some serious weight for the amount of money I spent on 'em. For a hundred bucks, I got all of this in unpainted plastic (mouse over figures for individual pics), plus out of the add-ons I also shelled out $25 for Nethyrmaul the Undying and $10 for Kaladrax Reborn - both of which are going to be easily more than 8 inches tall...

So I get a nice bonus check from work.
Immediately the wife has plans for the money.
Do you think I could get one (1) wargame with all that money?
No. She already has it all spent on Christmas, she says.

My oldest boys xbox caught the red ring of death, or whatever the hell he called it. So he says it's toast. So we gotta get him a new one for Xmas, and I hear those things aren't cheap.
In the meantime, he is reduced to playing his playstation.

I better get that 130$ board wargame for Xmas though. My wifes head explodes and she exclaims "130 dollars!!!!!111!!!!!1!!eleven!!1!!"
And I'm like "Yeah, and that's the pre-order price. If we wait, it will be 195$."
"Why so much?!" She screams.
"Because it is both the European theatre and Pacific theatre in one huge game. There are like 4 maps and 3000 counters. It's wonderful!"
She stares at me blankly.

I better get that damn game.

My database is not certain if the following statement applies to the newer Xbox 360 systems (I am presuming your son has an older version): Microsoft will refurbish the system for free if that is the only malfunction it has.

Oh really?
Thanks!
I will have to look into that.
