I believe it was in Arm's thread search for an interesting Avenger.
The Elemental Man (or Woman): A Genasi Handbook

The Warlord, Or How to Wield a Barbarian One-Handed

The Bookish Barbarian

Fardiz: RAI is fairly clear, but RAZ is different

That's right. Rules According to Zelink!

To get a legitimate response from me It would have required more work. Tossing up a picture and saying IDK what to play isn't going to get a serious response from me, or many on the boards. deciding what you want to play isn't CharOp.

While I understand that sort of point of view, I really have to sympathize with the OP as trying to figure out something interesting to play is precisely the problem I tend to face on a regular basis. Playing a Joe Schmoe chargevenger/slayer/thief/whatever just doesn't do it for me, and I literally find myself wasting a ludicrous amount of time just searching for interesting optimization concepts that are fun and sustainable for actual play. As long as they're presented in a way which provide direction, I think seed-idea threads such as "find me an interesting x I can actually play" have a lot of merit for generating new fresh ideas.

I blame charop for de-sensitizing me. What used to be "cool, a charge build!" is now just "yawn, standard charge kit again."

I did a quick search of the forum and the only "suggestions" that came up were all contained in the two Avenger Handbooks. I'll give that one a read through. Thanks for that.

While a disagreed with Zelinks initial post and tone i do understand the "reason". I should have posted more info in my start up of the thread with a better idea of what i was doing. So many times on this forum we get those "build this guy for me" threads and thats not what i wanted this to be.

Maybe now that this discussion has gone in a more positive direction i will use the pic and post an "OP" build sometime down the road and let the forum gurus tear it apart. Whatever it's just a bunch of words and numbers on a screen and who knows maybe, just maybe, i'll find an interesting something or other that hasn't been tried even if it doesn't work.
