Played in a few LFR mods (is where the armbands came from), seemed to do pretty damned well.  Anything I missed (thinking about switching out slaying action for improved defenses).

Only 1 rule: No pixies!

Well first off, Black-Hearted Knave is not LFR legal, so that can go
Harrying your Prey, the Easy Way: A Hunter's Handbook - the first of what will hopefully be many CharOp efforts on my part.
The Blinker - teleport everywhere. An Eladrin Knight/Eldritch Knight.

CB != rules source.

For an 8th level melee character, I'd always get Iron Armbands of Power, weapon of choice if +2 is available, and a really cool 8th or 9th level item. Then buy +1 armor/neck - you can then go straight to +3 armor/neck very quickly once you hit 9th via level+2 common if you don't find something else first.

I'm not a big fan of Slaying Action - it basically represents +10 damage if you hit with your action point and if you have an action point to spend - if you had to pick a combat where things might go wrong, it isn't the action point combat, it is the other one. Cunning Stalker is probably a good feat to look at - either you have a flank buddy, really bunched up opponents, or you have auto-CA. Improved Initiative is also useful for ensuring you get CA on round 1 and get to go first - with Snap Shot and Deft Strike, you don't even need to approach the enemies until round 2.

Yep, that one's fine.

The CA themes seem kind of redundant when frostcheese is right around the corner.... any other thoughts?

11 Con instead of Int. The extra surge in paragon does matter.
