I would say set them on the Mazunti, of course. Those pests are annoying my lovely frog-men!

Come come now, the frog-men are over reacting. A single psychopath who happens to be a turtle-dwarf goes nutters on a village, and the entire race prepares for war! Well, okay, I guess the nation proper also did abduct a few froggies, but the rest of them wouldn't know that. And they are being treated as nicely as scientific specimins could be hoped to be treated.

EDIT: Oh, that reminds me, I had paid for other magic systems to start having costs, which includes cryomancy and chronomancy, I believe (I think those are the only two magic systems Nos didn't create)?

Chronomancy actually seems simple, considering that Nos already connected knowledge of the future and past with temperature. To use Chronomancy, I'd propose that one must first store up the appropriate temperature, in order to access those powers. For example, to use powers related to the past or the slowing down of time, one must store up coldness, while in order to produce powers related to the future or speeding up time, one must store up heat. When the powers are expended, the temperature is released as well, with all the normal effects that temperature might cause. Or, in other words, release too much heat at once, and you might combust. Release a lot of cold all at once, and you might get frostbite (or you might freeze yourself).

Cryomancy, since it is based on bubbles, might require one to store up one's ability to speak. And, while expending the powers, one has visions of the past (since, again, the cold is related to the past).

Thoughts?

EDIT EDIT: Ah, I just saw Hobcraft. I'll have to think on that one for a while.

OR, Omus and Nos could struggle for control of Chronomancy, ending in a climactic battle between zealots (probably not them themselves, since neither is particularly warlike, I wouldn't have though) followed by the splitting of the planet and the destruction of at least one moon!

For Chronomancy proper, I was going to go with it having an inherant danger rather than a cost, but hey. I guess I should detail the subschools more, too - what I was calling "Histomancy" I think I'm not calling "Remembrancy", with Histomancy being a bit more like your suggestion for it. Actually, there is quite a bit of overlap between the two, but I guess that's not unlike real life.

RE Hobcraft - it is meant to be less of a magic system as per say and just something they do. I mean, if life magic? Hard to say. Is Hobcraft magic? Hard to say. In this case, though, it is all coming from within the Hobgoblins, so it would probably just make them tired, which seems fair. It would mostly be limited to illusions and glamers, so it's not like they need to expend the energy to blow things up or anything.

Storm is my Domain, but if you want it, go for it.

I've done a lot in the IC thread to no avail, and none of the stuff I mentioned several times was added to the map. Plus, everyone's off in their little god-cliques, so I'm just going to bow out.

It was fun in the beginning, then it just didn't quite do it for me.

Populaces are finally being tracked.  There are some surprizes :D

Basically... synergy bonuses are propelling the Mazunti and Kalamar above everyone else.

Edit:  Also, Fred... I apologize, but a few of your expenditures weren't being caught properly by my code, so you should have reached level 5... oh... a week or so ago.  Everything is fixed now.

Whoa... what happened to the OOC post I had in here asking you a question?  It appears that... I never hit submit.

Anyways, question for you.  If I were to react with great anger and shatter one of your moons into an asteroid belt... would that be okay with you?  I have a few alternatives I'm weighing in my head about how to react to what you did, and thats the one that I think might be most interesting.

Answer me that, and I'll post!

I knew it! Ikola is trying to keep Omus back for her own gain! I will be the Overgod!
Do I get some sort of "PP rebate" for that, then? Innocent

You should just mess with their stuff. Send your guys to war and throw like a bazillion Harms on everyone else. Then they'll start paying attention to you, the fools!
