So I'm looking over the playtest materials in detail to prepare for a session, and I notice the following for the Cleric of Pelor's level advancement. At level 2, he adds shield of faith to his list prepared spells. At level 3, he adds shield of faith again. I wondered if this was intentional so that players starting at level 3 instead of level 1 just wouldn't overlook it in their character adjustment, so I reviewed the Cleric of Moradin, and noticed that his only additional spell at level 2, Command, was repeated at level 3. So, now I'm thinking this was intentional, so I look at the spells added to the WIzard's spellbook as levels advance, and none of his added spells at level 2 are repeated at level 3. So now I'm confused. Should there have been a different spell listed at level 3 for each of the Clerics? I didn't notice anything in either of these spells descriptions that gives them any boost from being cast, much less prepared, in a higher level spell slot (character level 3 being the beginning of 2nd level spell usage).
If I missed some previously posted correction on this issue, could someone point me there? I looked for a correction before posting this but didn't find one.

Considering the limited Spell list and the scope of the characters, i imagine that they felt it was ok to give the Cleric of Pelor and Moradin a same 1st level Spell twice so they don't end up with a Spell repertory too identical, considering that 3rd level Clerics have five 1st level Spells out of seven.

But then why even give them three spells at 3rd level? Just give them the 2 non-redundant spells. If the RAW that we can't see say clerics at 3rd level can prepare 3 additional spells of 2nd level or lower, then throw in that 3rd unique spell for each of the two clerics. There is no technical benefit or fluff benefit to having one spell prepared twice, if we are certain that the cleric is a spontaneous caster, as seems to be implied. Thus, the redundancy comes across as intentional with no explanation or just plain sloppy (and I'm not intending to be snarky or insulting...sloppy was my initial honest impression).
