It's about professionalism, or a lack thereof. If I dealt with my customers this way I would be in a lot of trouble.
You're not exactly a customer of a free test packet for an alpha ruleset of a game that's going to be released in a year or two, though.
Quibbling will get us no where. These things happen, and we're all adult enough (hopefully) to give them some time. If this were the 5e release then you could pontificate about customer service. Now, however, is not the time.
I've been a customer of D&D products for 33 years at the last count.
I'm also a professional IT manager.
You test links before they go live. It's that simple.

Didn't got the e-mail yet, lets hope they won't forget me !
The emails are going out in batches, and there's still plenty of batches left, so I'm almost certain you'll be good to go. And hopefully we'll have this issue fixed by then too!

Rats! I'm still being redirected to the customer support page and the interim fix didn't work for me. I'm patient though, and will wait with bated breath!
I use Charisma for my Bated Breath attack, btw. Just FYI.

Come on people, this is no computer game, none of us will be able to play before actually reading the files. What's a few technological hiccups now... We know the files exists, it just a little technical problem, probably due to some people at wotc not that computer savy.
Wait for a bit, you'll have the files soon enough... (and no , I don't have the files yet, I have yet to recieve second email...)
Patience is a virtue... and apparently virtue is overrated nowadays....
I agree. All good things come to those who wait... or something to that effect.
