Q24: The cleric of Pelor seems to have the Spell Attack bonus calculate wrong. It should be +6 instead of +4. Can you confirm? Is there a thread for this kind of stuff already?

Thanks. That makes sense. Q25: Is there really no difference in any bonuses by leveling to 2nd or 3rd level?

A24: You're right. Note that in the top right, the cleric's radiant lance spell correctly has a +6 attack bonus.

A25: Correct. You do not gain a half-level (or any other purely level based modifier) to die rolls. Presumably any bonus scaling will come from feats, class abilities, gear, etc. Remember ACs/saving throws also don't increase.
The difference between madness and genius is determined only by degrees of success.

Q26: The wording on Burning Hands is really ambiguous. Does the target automatically get a saving throw, or can the target take one if they want, or can they only take one if they prepared a reaction?

Q27: Several of the attack/damage bonuses I am assuming that there are some kinda of weapon profiency bonuses of 2, becuase its not listed anywhere, and all magic gets +2 bonus. Fighter: str: 16 +6 : 2d6+7(greataxe) [where are these numbers coming from? both attack and damage] dex: 12 + 4: 1d8 +5 (lt crossbow)[where are these numbers coming from? both attack and damage] Cleric(Pelor) Dex: 15 +1: 1d8-1 (quarterstaff) [Quarterstaff should be able to use dex rather than str?] Radiant Lance seems correct Cleric(Moradin) [seems completely correct] Rogue dex: 17 +5 1d8 +3 (sling) [Doesnt a sling do 1d6? other bonuses seem solid assuming +2 profiencey bonus] Wizard Int:17 +6: 1d8 +3 (Shocking grasp) [attack bonus seems to be too high? int + magic = 5 not 6] Quarterstaff(similar issue as cleric)

A26: I believe this and most of the AoE magic functions like the 3.5 AoE, where everything in the area gets a saving throw unless they are in a status that does not allow them (paralized, ets...)

| monkeygentleman, you are the worst thing to happen to the CharOp forums since Mearls took over WotC.

Q29
So if I read this right the Cleric of Moradin has a theme that uses a shield but doesn't have shield proficency. So either the cleric doesn't use a shield making the theme a wasted choice or the cleric uses a shield & has disadvantage on Str Checks, Dex Checks, Str Saves, Dex Saves as well as disadvantage on attacks.

Q30: The entry for the Dagger on the weapon table says that a dagger deals 1d4 damage, but the entry for it on the Rogue's character sheet says that it deals 1d6 damage. A similar boost also occurs for the Sling (1d6 to 1d8). Can anybody explain the discrepancy here?
