Hi all, I'm new to Dungeons and Dragons but I'm interested in playing. On that note, I've seen in a few places people playing a sort of D&D by using the forums. Everyone in the party takes a turn and the DM does everyone's rolls and posts the outcomes. I haven't seen one that's exactly what I'm looking for, so I decided to start my own resource for this. I just set up the forum today, and I have some real life friends who are going to join me.

The purpose of writing this thread is two-fold. I'm:

A) Looking for more players to join in and have some fun and
B) Looking for some experienced players who'd be willing to do the online DM'ing since I personally haven't had nearly enough experience to do it.


It may seem odd that I've set up this website with hardly any experience, but again it's just a *resource* for players wanting to do this. People willing to DM will get instant moderator priviledges and the ability to start adventures. If you're interested in doing either, sign up on the sign-up topic and post your intentions. As far as the rules for each adventure go I'll let the DM's post them at the beginning of each thread. I don't necessarily expect these adventures to follow the *exact* rules for D&D. Things like flanking are hard to accomplish and represent in this medium.

You are looking for pbp (Play By Post) games.  And yes, this is the wrong forum.

Ok, thanks a ton for the info. I'd still like to open it up to a lot of DND players, so if anyone knows any other good places to post this let me know. And tell your friends if you're interested, I'd love to see you there.
