Rules Compendium pg222
"Whenver a power or other effect requires a damage roll, it specifies which dice to roll and how many of them."
The "other effect" is not clear.
Does it include extra damage such as from a class feature like warlock's curse, sneak attack, and hunter's quarry?
Does it include the properties of magic items such as Vanguard Weapon and Claw Gloves?
Does it include paragon path features such as the +1d4 from Malec-Keth Janissary or the +2d6 from Coiled Serpent?
If the answer is yes, does that mean that attacks that get those bonuses now get the bonuses that add to damage rolls?
Requesting a thread for the Dungeon Command Rule Book.
p.3 says: "Poisoned: You take 1 damage at the start of your Hero Phase. Discard this Condition at the end of your Hero Phase if you roll 10+."
I think this might be a typo, and was instead intended to be 10 points of damage (i.e. since the system is tracking Hit Points increments of 10, and single points are so small they aren't even tracked).
If you look at the rulebook closely, the section you are referring to SPECIFICALLY says:
requesting an Errata thread of the Gaze of Ruin Tiefling Feat power ,from Dragon magasin 387.
The addition of Charisma as a modifier should be obligatory, seeing that this power is for Tiefling, who makes a large use of Charisma, much more then Intelligence in most of the cases.
Gaze of Ruin
Your gaze causes foodstuffs to become inedible, a wood door to rot, armor to grow brittle, or a weapon to rust.
Target: One object
Effect: The target gains vulnerability to all damage equal to one-half your level + your Intelligence modifier until the end of your next turn. If the target is a weapon, attacks with it take a penalty to damage rolls equal your Intelligence modifier (minimum 1) until the end of your next turn. If the target is armor, a creature wearing it takes a -2 penalty to AC until the end of your next turn.
Requesting an errata thread for Open Grave: Secrets of the Undead, concerning the Entropic Reaper as found on page 178.
The Entropic Assault attack power has no attack roll, and RAW thus causes automatic damage and dazed (save ends), worsening on failed saving throws, to all creatures in a close burst 2, potentially every turn. This doesn't seem on-par with other level 15 elite creatures.
Requesting an errata thread for Eberron Player's Guide concerning the Lyrandar Wind-Rider Paragon Path pg. 72.
The powers Wind Burst and Unruly cyclone only have the Impleent keyword when the path is obviously geared towards Lightning and Thunder powers. The effects of the level 11 feature (+1 attack, +Con mod damage to lightning/thunder powers) and the Mark of Storm feat (A requirement to the PP) have no effect whatsoever on either- making them almost useless.
Requesting an errata thread for the new Red Box DM's Guide and map of "Twisting Halls" - the chess puzzle.
Not sure if those who don't play chess are concerned, but it took me a long time to convince myself and my players (who happen to play chess too...) that the puzzle is actually a chess game. First, the lower-right square is always white on a real chess board - on the map this is the farthest square to the right from either door openings, and it is black. The other (and bigger) problem is that the chess figure the PCs "assume" is determined by the square they enter the chess table - but the booklet gives the wrong figure for those squares. In correct chess terms, players could "turn" into a rook (by moving diagonally left from the doorway opposite to the puzzle's existing figures), a knight (straight from left doorway square), bishop (straight from right doorway square) and queen (diagonally right from rightmost doorway square).
Is it possible to raise a request for a thread for the errata document itself?
There is some pieces of errata that have been superseded (such as the DMG skill DC errata not matching the current Rules Compendium DC values) as well as some omissions (such as the full text for power changes introduced in the class compendium articles).
