On time, too!
Here are the PHB essentia, in my opinion: - Three Basic Rules (p 11)
- Power Types and Usage (p 54)
- Skills (p178-179)
- Feats (p 192)
- Rest and Recovery (p 263)
- All of Chapter 9 [Combat] (p 264-295)
A player needs to read the sections for building his or her character -- race, class, powers, feats, equipment, etc. But those are PC-specific. The above list is for everyone, regardless of the race or class or build or concept they are playing.

Note: Blood Money is an adventure from Dungeon 200, not 199

Since fixes like that come as additional options from articles and not rules updates... be prepared to wait a while longer.

Practical gameplay runs by neither RAW or RAI, but rather "A Compromise Between The Gist Of The Rule As I Recall Getting The Impression Of It That One Time I Read It And What Jerry Says He Remembers, Whatever, We'll Look It Up Later If Any Of Us Still Give A Damn." Erachima

Looks like the changes to the 'Compiled Rules Updates' document are still pending? Sadly (for me) looks like the issues I highlighted with the errata ( community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/758... ) have not been picked up so far.

Does anyone have any idea when that Compiled Rules Updates document will be updated? I do not recall seeing any delay at all previously -- they just put up everything at once. And it is not as though there are a lot of updates this time around either. Are they trying to discourage interest in 4E by making it more difficult to assemble the complete errata?

INSIDE SCOOP GAMERS: In the new version of D&D, it will no longer be "Edition Wars." It will be "Edition Lair Assault." - dungeonbastard

Well, we are about a week away from the next errata and the 'Compiled Rules Updates' document is still pending the April changes. My hope is - 1. The May errata will come out on time; 2. The April and May errata is inserted into the CRU document at the time the May errata is issued; 3. The issues with the errata I highlighted ( community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/758... ) are addressed. My fear is that the errata may not receive the attention it needs with the launch of the DDN playtest this week. Fingers crossed!
