@crayne Grappling Spirits doesn't combine as nicely with WSG as pretty much anything else that slows, because the slow only lasts until the end of the monster's next turn, which, without a multiattack, immediate, or action point, isn't long enough for you to hit it a second time.

And yeah, Archery Mastery only exists in D402. The build is still workable without it.  You would only be able to make your standard one RBA/turn generally, instead of using it as an area burst 1, but twin strike offers greater targeting flexibility anyway, for times when you don't need the THP (or whatever skald benefit you're granting).  The Ranger|Seeker build offers a lot of ways to F up team monster's plans, while still offering a level of damage competitive with any non-optimized striker, and there's many ranger daily powers that grant lots of free RBAs (which you can use the seeker at-wills in place of). Adding skald love to it would have been ridiculously good when the heal was 1/enc, and is still a pretty neat trick if you dilettante one of the stances.

Regarding grappling spirits, that's true. An oversight on my part, so this combo is much less useful.

It only works with the encounter powers, where you get to attack a different target if you miss (seeker gets one for free and rebounding weapon has such a power, so attack someone slowed), or fox's cunning if your attacker is already slowed, as well as other seeker ranged basic enocuter attack powers, that immobilize your target (winter spirit, LV 3). It also works on AP and there's a few weapons with daily minor action ranged basic attack powers. Nothing prevents you from carrying several weapons, with different enchantment. Though that's a waste of magic item slots. The combo is still possible, but not at-will and requires a few investments.

I personally prefer the other combo (biting swarm) because it doesn't rquire you to hit all targets to debuff and may also cripple enemies outside your attacking zone.

If you cannot use rapid shot, you could try skald hybrid seeker MC net (Net Training feat). The Net is not a good weapon by itself, because it's proficiency is +2, bad range and low damage, but that can be compensated. You may use a "distant" enchant to get better range and without rapid shot you'll be quite accurate. With Net Training all your net attacks slow on a hit until the end of your next turn, so you can prone enemies at-will with any seeker ranged basic attack, even biting swarm (but only the primary target counts as a "hit", not bystanders).
