Wull yeah, but all classes have basic attacks. The fact that Rangers have more powers doesn't mean it applies less to the ranger.
Rangers pretty much never use their basic attack. Rangers use Twin Strike, and all those other powers you mentioned, because that's where the strength of the class is.
Slayers, on the other hand, are entirely built around doing BAs, and that's where all their strengths are. So, as a Slayer, you will be making BAs all the time (and thus benefit much more from Primal Eye). Rangers won't do this.
I am okay with you saying my argument is stupid, or commits the munchkin fallacy, or any other bad thing you want. Particularly if you give a reason/explanation for it.
However, I will ignore any post that calls me stupid, or a munchkin, or what have you. Not because it bothers me; I've just found that people only start name-calling when that's the best argument they have left.

So use Twin strike? I mean, why even go with a slayer? I'm so confused as to the point...

Because it's a Basic Attack, it can be granted/augmented by any number of items/leaders/poachable class features. When you can boost your Basic Attack on your own through feats/items/class features, it can be a devastating weapon in the hand of an enabling leader, or say, have a bard in your party and take agile opportunist.
A monster may not care much about taking an opp attack from a ranger (barring heavy blade opportunity). Most will not risk a second from a decently opped slayer.

But I thought we were talking about RBAs?

Don't get me wrong, I've built many a Dex-Slayer. And it's nice having a nasty RBA when you start fuming on hit points. But going all-ranged? Not really worth it; sure, you get a big static bonus, but power strike goes to waste (unless you're really going to spend multiple feats to swap it out for a Ranger encounter power), as does weapon specialization, most of your stances...
I don't really see the advantage here over other ranged Strikers. As for Primal Eye abuse, you'd be better off doing that with a Thief. ^_^

I agree with someone who posted at the beginning of the thread about the Arena feats for Human Slayers. Specifically Deft Hurler Style. Essentially use Cleave and if it hits, use a RBA that doesn't provoke vs another target. So you can still use all of your basic attack goodies.

Human with Deft Hurler Cleave and Swordmaster? PP (the one that lets you charge with Cleave) can make for an interesting and unusual Slayer build if you use a Farbond Spellblade (probably a Fullblade). It's a reasonable build. Not the best single-target damage, but being able to do the slayer's statics at-will twice it pretty nice, albeit you are spreading the damage (and you're still able to get all your charge kit bonuses, and keep the ability to pick up Rain of Blows, although it loses a tap for using the wrong weapon). Doing it without charging with it is probably not worth it.

It ws me that mentioned the style feats and for deft hurler. I think my first comment on the boards was specificaly on that very build & how useful the PP choice is. community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/758...I PM'ed the guy about paragon paths but never got a reply, it seemed a really cool idea but not yet fully fleshed out. Though from what your saying it seems being able to use cleave on the charge is a necessary part of the build.

Swordmaster lets you charge with cleave, but not much beyond that, right?

Not much... beyond the charge kit.
