I really like Tarantino's stuff but ... he lost me at 'Jamie Foxx'.

I dunno. Foxx is terrible. I mean, the role everyone loves him for? I think he was awful. Ray was awful because of Jamie Foxx. What has he done that's been even close to good? Man, it'll be one hell of a directorial effort if he manages to make Foxx not completely suck. The rest of the cast seems pretty awesome. Too bad Foxx will probably ruin it.

Why did he get Jamie Foxx for the role? This is why I'm not a Tarantino fan. Overrated hack that he is.

I like his stuff. I'm even interested in this - just to see what he does with it (though I suspect we all have an idea  ). The cast looks really good ... except for Jamie Foxx. And that's a big problem. Cuz he's terrible.

I am unsure about Jamie Foxx too, but if anyone can pull an interesting performance from him it might be Tarentino. I don't like all of Tarentino's films, but the ones I like- I really like. Also as mentioned, a very interesting cast, and I am particularly interested in seeing Christopher Waltz again (I appreciated his performance in Inglorious Basterds.)
