I'm still just shocked that this beats out Morninglord&Pelor's Boon&Radiant One.

I'm not sure how you'd build that...  you need battlemind (lightning rush), fighter (dragging flail), divine (morninglord), and arcane (riposte), as well as booming blade.

Also, since you need a double hit, accuracy takes even more precidence (-19%, instead of 10%), so destined scion is valued higher then radiant one.  It not too much difference though.

Hmm... radiant one would add fire damage... so infernal prince would give +1...
But then it's down to +5 damage vs +1 to hit.

Halfelf Bard could probably get all of them, but not sure how much the build would suffer as a whole.

Is there anything stopping them from just readying to attack (or charge, or whatever) on your turn?

I mean, it's often considered dirty pool, but if the game's already dark may as well join the crowd?

Hmm... nope...

You don't have much of an OA either, and it won't be slowed by the hindering shield since you started your turn.

F-111 Interdictor Long (200+ squares) distance ally teleporter.  With some warlord stuff.  Broken in a plot way, not a power way.
Thought Switch   Higher level build that grants upto 14 attacks on turn 1.  If your allies play along, it's broken.
Elven Critters Crit op with crit generation.  5 of these will end anything.  Broken.
King Fisher Does an excellent job at keeping an enemy disabled in a few ways.  Strong.
Boominator Fun catch-22 booming blade build with either strong or completely broken damage depending on your reading.
Very Distracting Warlock Lot's of dazing and major penalties to hit.  Overpowered.

Sir Robin (Bravely Charge Away) He automatically slows and pushes an enemy (5 squares), while charging away. Hard to rate it's power level, since it's terrain dependent.
Death's Gatekeeper A fun twist on a healic, making your party "unkillable". Overpowered to Broken, but shouldn't actually make the game un-fun, just TPK proof.
Death's Gatekeeper mk2, (Stealth Edition) Make your party "unkillable", and you hidden, while doing solid damage. Stronger then the above, but also easier for a DM to shut down. Broken, until your DM get's enough of it.

At first cut (-1 to hit, +14 damage per instance) it was a loss to overall DPR...

I was saying get fire damage from Radiant One, to benefit from Infernal Prince.

So you lose 2 accuracy by losing Destined Scion, but you gain 1 from Infernal Prince. That means you're at +42 to hit vs. AC 44, which means you hit on a 2 or higher - i.e. still 95% accuracy, because the build is currently going off the die.

AND you have the Radiant One damage bonus, plus all the other RO goodies.
I am okay with you saying my argument is stupid, or commits the munchkin fallacy, or any other bad thing you want. Particularly if you give a reason/explanation for it.

However, I will ignore any post that calls me stupid, or a munchkin, or what have you. Not because it bothers me; I've just found that people only start name-calling when that's the best argument they have left.

We need a way to figure out how many monsters have above a 44 AC...  the extra accuracy should still count for something.

But i suppose if your just going against the DPR king's tofu, then yea, that's better.  So +9-1-1-2=5 damage * 20 = 100 *.95*.95 ~ 90 more.

You /could/ generate a list of every monster's AC and how many are at that point, then do a dpr calc for each AC point and then do an average of all those calcs based off of the distribution from the list. But that would be......exhausting.

Its easier to just assume in such real world play when not fighting tofu, you also have a party, who being a good party, is providing eachother some kind of bonus that offsets any deviation from tofu defenses.

Meh...

If you assume real world, then the DM will have higher level creatures, so it contiunues to matter.

Non-abusive (real world) DPR.

.95 * (63+(.95 * 57.5)) + 14 = 125.74375

Possibly higher, since you don't neccicarly need to punt+slow people 18 squares, but a battering shield -> epic will wouldn't hurt either.

I quite like the lightning rush + riposte thing going on, even without booming blade.  I think i'll have to make this my next PC.
