Hello all,

I have just registered here, please be gentle with me

I've been playing D&D for about 10 years, mainly 3.5 edition.

My husband is a long time player (he started on first edition when he was 6!) and I'd love to hire a DM to write a short Forgotten Realms based campaign that is role-play heavy for his 40th birthday next year.

We are based in Surrey in the UK.

I am potentially looking for someone to write the campaign based on input on my husband's playing style preferences from me and his friends, to be run over a weekend sometime in July 2012.

Please let me know if you are interested in doing this or if you know anyone who would be?

Cheers,
Yllaria

Just to mention that I'd be willing to pay someone to do this and cover travel costs too.

Please let me know if you are interested?

Cheers,
Yllaria

You posts have moved me. I shall do this for you. It might be a little expensive. I live in Florida. Also, we Floidians aren't known for our smarts so it may be a be underwhelming.

Okay, all joking aside, I think you would be better served if you could find the forums where you can get players and DMs in your area. I forgot the name or the forum, and I don't know what happened to the link we had bumping around here. Hopefully another, more useful OTTer would be willing to link it up for you. I tried finding it, but I wasn't able to.

Yllaria,

Dear friend!  It has been never since we spoken have but much you about I have heard!  I am bringer of news of the good!  Your dear lost uncle Yllarrinski most recently has away passed and has left item in will for you!  It seems timing is most perfect for you!  The lost item is campaign based on input on my husband's playing style preferences from me and his friends, to be run over a weekend sometime in July 2012!  How good fortune making!  Just what is needed by you at this time!  Alas, I am also bringer of bad news!  Am currently not able to send happy making to you!  Happy making is held by corrupt postal official and is need of much bribing for releasing!  You send five thousand Euro to return address and I am sure happy making will be sent!  Send word when money can be expected!  Many thankings to you!

If you're terribly afraid of your character dying, it may be best if you roleplayed something other than an adventurer.
