Kam nerf, woohoo?

Practical gameplay runs by neither RAW or RAI, but rather "A Compromise Between The Gist Of The Rule As I Recall Getting The Impression Of It That One Time I Read It And What Jerry Says He Remembers, Whatever, We'll Look It Up Later If Any Of Us Still Give A Damn." Erachima

It was about time KAM was overdue ! Also, the errata to the Feat Beast Protector kicked a discussion over on the Rule Q&A.

KAM nerf was long overdue. Thank you WotC! This was my last major request for seriously broken powers. There's a lot of little things that need tweaking before I'd consider 4e to be "finished", but this fix was very important. Anyone who's ever DM'ed against a serious KAM build knows what I'm talking about.

The current edition is BECMI, the most popular form of Basic D&D and the adventure is the classic Red Box quest to kill Bargle the evil magic user. Check it out, learn about the games roots, and enjoy the story as it unfolds.

Good to see that they have got it out on time again - I must admit I had my doubts, but am glad to be proved wrong!

Meh, it is a nit. Q&A has gotten more and more pointlessly picky since the early days. Still, you'd think they'd have learned by now...

It's too bad they crushed the one beast mastery build that actually had decent damage.

Agreed. I don't know why WotC hates the beastmasters. The beast companions still have inferior hit rates compared the essentials companions. I had hoped they would have fixed that by now. The beastmaster build is so weak compared to other ranger builds the only reason anyone plays it is for fun and flavor.

Strange world the game designers live in if they think Beast Mastery rangers need nerfs.
Clearly not enough people are charging or using twin-strike.

Or how Sharpshooter was given errata and, I think it's Seven Fates Archer that has an identical ability, that wasn't clarified. Then again, who plays Seekers? ^_^
