Just five?

Forgotten Realms

Dragonlance

Greyhawk

Mystara

Eberron
I prefer 2nd Edition AD&D. But I have played basic, 1E, 2E, 3.5, & 4E, and found all to be fun.

IF IT'S D&D, I'LL PLAY IT, NO MATTER THE EDITION.

Just roll some dice.

Hard to restrict it to just 5 but here goes:

1) Modern/Future

2) Oriental Adventures (you should perhaps include final totals for this and Kara-Tur together to reflect overall interest in Asian rules and/or setting)

3) Al Qadim

4) Something Brand New

5) Variant Setting Creation Guidebook

Not suprised to see well established settings getting the most votes but I'm glad to see Planescape doing well in the polls (I have such fond memories of the Planescape: Torement computer game).

Children believe what we tell them, they have complete faith in us. I ask of you a little of this childlike simplicity, and to bring us luck, let me speak four truly magic words: "A long time ago...." (Jean Cocteau's Beauty and the Beast)

While I used to love Forgotten Realms way back with the introduction of the grey boxset I would really appreciate Wizards to consider putting this setting off to the side to start 5e. I am tired of being inundated with this setting permeating a big chucnk of the product line. Hold off, please (unless it's the grey boxset revisited with the 5e rule-set).
"...spells were not created to serve the mechanics of the combat system. Many of them were sources of inspiration, cues for role playing, and served to make the game naturally unpredictable, which I think served the 'product of your imagination' concept alot better than any mechanic ever could. In fact I'd rather not have D&D next be a 'product of the mechanics' type of game ever again." ~dmgorgon
