If dragons are to be invovled, I much prefer to play as a dragon, dragon rider, dragonslayer-slayer, dragonfriend, or anything else *but* a dragonslayer.

So far...

1st Place: Forgotten Realms (17)
2nd Place: Eberron & Planescape (16)
3rd Place: Greyhawk (15)
4th Place: Ravenloft (14)
5th Place: Dark Sun (13)

Only a four point difference between first place and fifth. It's also refreshing to see a sizable vote for my favorite setting (Greyhawk).
Playtest or get off the playtest boards.

Thanks for that information, Azzy1974

Also, coming into 6th Place currently would be Dragonlance and Spelljammer, both tied at 10 votes. Nothing else exceeds even 5 votes. I am pleased with the results thus far and I hope everyone keeps voting.

Planescape only had official books printed in AD&D 2nd edition, yet is doing absolutely amazing in the polls. That is incredible!

The settings getting the most votes are also the settings I find the most fun. That makes me happy.

Do you have an opinion on what campaign settings should be printed in D&D Next? If so, please cast your votes in this poll!

What campaign settings would you most like to see reprinted in D & D Next? Edit: I will only count five campaign settings; if you list more I will PM you and ask if you can reduce your list to five.

Below, I have listed all settings I can find. Any constructive criticism regarding this list is welcomed via post or PM.

First off, I take several issues with your list. Kara-tur and Maztica are both Forgotten Realms supplments not campaign settings, and Hollow World and Savage Coast (along with a subset supplemental, Red Steel) are Mystara supplemental material. I ask that you adjust your list accordingly. Those are just the ones that popped out, there may be others. Here are my picks, with that in mind:

Dragonlance

Forgotten Realms

Greyhawk

Mystara

Ravenloft

Edit: Al-Qadim is also technically part of the Realms as well. I think it would be good to organize the supplemtal material according which overarching setting it's in.

The Faerytale will be told. The only question is - will you play a part?
