What do you think of Sarifal Feywarden on a Generator build? Would the vulnerability of Sarifal's Blessing not apply because Lightning Soul damage isn't an attack?
If it doesn't work for a generator, it seems like it could still be pretty good for a multi-attacker like Blade Cascade, although you get pretty action starved.
Also, is there another good way in Paragon to get a free action move after an MBA besides Purple Dragon or Shadowrift Blade? I'd like one that can work even at times when I can't charge like when using Eladrin Swordmage Advance.
edit - found one possibility in Spiral Dance Assault although 1/round is meh

Well, I'm trying to make it work with an Eladrin if possible, so as far as I can tell I'm stuck with a vanilla MBA.

Well it won't work in paragon but in epic there is Mobile Warrior. Or you could PMC to grab eldritch strike. But for an Eladrin who wants to MC swordmage it looks like the purple dragon theme or the shadowrift blade are it....

A friend of mine is unhappy with his eladrin fireblaster wizard (to boring) and I was contemplating suggesting the Yakuza Blade Wizard option. It seems this build has great versatility skill wise as well as power wise. I like the whole nova setup, but it feels like after round 1, you are basically limited to Daily+minor basic or just melee basic. Is there anyway around this, like recharding feystep or something else?

If your buddy thinks a blaster wizard is boring, I can't recommend the Bladesinger, since all you'll be doing is using your MBA turn after turn.
That said, the least convoluted way to recharge Fey Step as a Bladesinger is to:
1. Take the Escaped Thrall or Noble Adept theme for a power point every encounter
2. Take the Awakened Potential feat so you gain the Psionic Augmentation class feature (prerequisite for 3)
3. Take the Ubiquitous Step feat so you can recharge your Fey Step
4. Take Psionic Celerity so you can spend a power point whenever you move to regain your Fey Step
It's costly (15 INT, your theme, and 3 feats, among which is your multiclass), but it lets you Fey Step twice per encounter.
EDIT: never mind, since this takes up your multiclass, you can't MC Swordmage for ESA, making this an exercise in futility. Now I remember why I didn't write about this trick in the past.

Yeah the only thing I found is an amulet that lets you recharge feystep once per day. I also feel that this class is rather boring. You have your bag of daily tricks, but days with 6-8 encounters... lame. Also, a good nova is only achieved with an action point (and right build Warlord).

There is the level 16 Eladrin racial utility from dragon 405. Lets you teleport as a free action after a hit. Only once per round though.
