Superman is simply the lamest form of mental masturbation to have ever existed.
The best thing there is about Superman is the first episode of third season of Batman: The Brave and The Bold, "Battle of the Superheroes!". Seriously, watch it.

Much like the rest of the series, it's a homage to comics from the 60s. In Superman's case this means a lot of good, old fashioned Super[CoC violation], as well as some insanity from Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane. With Batman on top.
