With it's very vague title, I suspect it might be something akin to Grand History of the Realms, as an end-of-edition book to help sum up changes made to Forgotten Realms, and get all of the fluff and canon intact in a single book.
Could be wrong though. *shrug*

That was my first thought too, Naki, but fortunately I was wrong.
This book is aparently going to be a cache of as yet unseen Realmslore from Ed's basement.
For the Realmslore enthusiast (as well as the creative DM always looking for good ideas) this ought to be a gold mine.
The Forgotten Realms: It's an ugly baby, but damnit it's our ugly baby.
WotC, please don't wreck the Forgotten Realms a third time in order to introduce the latest version of the D&D rules.
Give us back 3rd Edition's Magic Television concept instead.
