The goal of this build is to make an accurate lazer build that does a good bit of radiant damage with vulnerabilty, is tough to hit or damage, where enemies won’t want to be near you, and provides a some healing and leading tricks to top it off. Most of the time would start off the encounter with power of sun and party friendly AOE power and then spam Radiant Vengence and Lance of Faith (using both power of the sun and domain synergy and eventually radiant advantage). Off turn it uses a variety of close immediate attack powers with different triggers and minor actions for sustaining powers and leader tricks.
level 30 build so far

Powers
At wills: Radiant Vengence (temp hitpoints and causes vulnerability to radiant and +2 to hit with domain synergy, in epic it also grants CA)
If I don’t go heroic effort I would use Avenging Shackles for extra at will since it’s an RBA for any leaders in the party
Lance of Faith (boosts allies to hit and causes vulnerability to radiant and +2 to hit with domain synergy, in epic it also grants CA)
Invoker: Hand of radiance or maybe visions of blood.

Symbol of divine light is my choice for symbols starting at 17 since it adds an extra 5 radiant damage most of the time. Leaning towards a sun disk of pelor so all the damage it does is radiant before then. Symbol of brilliance is also a possibility since it will crit a decent amount. Other items: ring of radiant storm. Flame bracers. Bloofury longsword and light mace of healing.
Avenger doesn’t lose much for hybrid and you are using it for the classes powers and feats. It barely uses the oath, really only for painful oath in paragon and hand of divine guidance in epic both of which work with cleric powers too. Cleric takes care of any AC issue (until BCL gets errata) and has good feat and paragon path support. Avengers have 1 immediate close implement power, while clerics have a couple of good immediate implement powers so from 13-30 it has 3 immediate attacks, good big area dailes and good leader buffs and healing. Invoker mc is for a couple of feats, religion skill, and an extra multiattack power.
Advantages are that it is painful for an enemy to be near him or to attack him. He has constant temp hitpoint generation keyed to wis mod and doesn’t grant CA. Peal of thunder punishes enemies that do hit him starting at level 7. Also threat of multiple uses of solar enemy in paragon. In epic he gets invokers aura which further punishes enemies with radiant damage keyed to wis mod for being near him when he uses a CD power which he will be doing 2-3 times an encounter in epic.
Uses cleric dailies for big party friendly AOE attacks. Gets a good bit of healing too with 2 healing words most encounters in late paragon and by late epic can target 4 PCs per encounter. Has bastion of health too so that should be enough healing for a typical encounter.
Morninglord of course works very well starting at 16, but is a bit overdone and deity specific and he already has a good bit of radiant vulnerability. Power of sun is almost as strong as the level 16 feature for single targets and a lot of other benefits of the path I can get pretty close to in other ways. So I went with astral savant. Astral savant pumps out a bit more surge healing with action points and when it uses healing word does a tiny bit of radiant damage that the target will likely be vulnerable to. Enemy critical hits to the party recharge solar enemy. And has some decent party friendly AOE radiant powers. Unveiled visage is also a possibility since it too recharges solar enemy and has some AOE radiant, but its level 11 feature isn’t useful.
For accuracy I have starting 20 wisdom, expertise, domain synergy (+2 untyped for both at wills as soon as I use power of sun), heroic effort, some powers that boost his attack/lower defenses, and radiant advantage in epic. Am still debating whether to go with astral or accurate symbol. Here is the damage boosts I figure so far: +2/3/4 for the superior symbol, wis mod for first attack vs oath target from painful oath, 2/4 feat bonus with invokers blaze (or 4/8 when bloodied), scaling vulnerability when I hit with radiant vengence or lance of faith in previous round or use power of the sun which stacks with the power of the sun vulnerability.
Anyone know some good themes or other items for this? Right now I am leaning towards ordained priest or devil's pawn, but there are no obvious great themes for this build that I see.
Another option with this build is to go half elf, pick sun strike as the dilletante power and in paragon pick up distant vengence and verstile master. Sun strike will then get a double roll, but that means losing one feat from your race and probably losing superior will and gamblers word or an epic tier feat.
