RC p.315 "Removed From Play: Some effects can temporarily remove a creature from play. While a creature is removed from play, its turns start and end as normal, but it can’t take actions. In addition, it has neither line of sight nor line of effect to anything, and nothing has line of sight or line of effect to it."

A creature Removed From Play could use Powers that require No Action for exemple.

Also, some Removed From Play powers specifically allow certain actions to be taken - Feywild Sojourn, for example.
Harrying your Prey, the Easy Way: A Hunter's Handbook - the first of what will hopefully be many CharOp efforts on my part.
The Blinker - teleport everywhere. An Eladrin Knight/Eldritch Knight.

CB != rules source.

Also, something that never occured to me but being Removed From Play provoke Opportunity Attacks as you leave a square.

RC 246 Opportunity Attack's Trigger: An enemy that you can see either leaves a square adjacent to you or uses a Ranged or an Area power while adjacent to you.

RC 200 Leave a Square: Move out of a square on the battle grid by any means, wether willingly or unwillingly.

Technically, Removed From Play does not remove you from your current square.  Where does it say take it off the battlegrid?  It doesn't.  The creature remains in its square and has neither LoS nor LoE to anything and nothing has LoS or LoE to it, it also can't take any actions (except no actions), its turn starts normally (taking ongoing damage) and ends normally (making saving throws), but it remains in that square, occupying that square.

They typically all have the teleportation key word: "When a target teleports, it doesn’t provoke opportunity actions, such as opportunity attacks, that are triggered by movement."

Ha Teleportation Keyword would indeed let them avoid the OA.
